The Role Located at the Banyo site, this role operates from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. As the first point of contact for operations, you will provide essential administrative support in a fast-paced industrial environment. You will balance technical tasks in SAP with high-level customer service for major accounts, ensuring site organization and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics & Scheduling: Plan and manage transport schedules for material movement and logistics coordination.
Operational Support: Act as the first point of contact for operations and maintain the department’s administrative inbox.
Customer Engagement: Manage a small group of 4 major accounts and communicate effectively with customer service teams.
Conflict Resolution: Resolve operational hurdles professionally, including the management of futile disputes.
Systems & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of material volumes and transport logs while completing SAP confirmations.
Administration: Prepare reports for management on operations and performance metrics.
Compliance Support: Assist with audits, inspections, and the maintenance of compliance documentation.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will bring a blend of administrative efficiency and industrial understanding:
Industry Experience: Proven experience in an administrative or support role within resource recovery, recycling, logistics, or a similar industrial environment.
Systems Proficiency: Solid experience with SAP (confirmations) and general office software.
Logistics Knowledge: Strong understanding of transport scheduling and logistics coordination.
Communication: Good organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to liaise with drivers and internal stakeholders.
Reliability: Ability to commit to 7:30 am – 3:30 pm Mon-Fri in office
