The Opportunity:
In this role, you won't just be managing spreadsheets; you’ll be the commercial engine behind your category. Working within a fast-paced, high-volume environment, you will partner with the Buying team to turn data into profitable growth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Strategic Planning: Developing and executing seasonal financial plans, including sales, margin, and stock targets.
- Inventory Management: Managing OTB (Open to Buy) and life-cycle management to ensure optimal stock turns.
- Performance Analysis: Providing deep-dive insights into category performance, identifying risks, and seizing missed opportunities.
- Collaboration: Working closely with our high-performing Buying team to build ranges that win in the Australian market.
What We’re Looking For:
We have x2 vacancies due to internal promotions. We need sharp, commercially-minded professionals who thrive on accountability.
- Experience: Previous experience in Merchandise Planning (Hard Goods preferred, but Big Box/High Volume retail is essential).
- Analytical Rigor: You are an Excel power-user who can find the "story" behind the data.
- High Standards: You have a meticulous eye for detail and a drive to exceed KPIs.
- Communication: The ability to influence stakeholders and present your strategy with confidence.
