Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Melbourne OR Perth Based
Are you ready to elevate your career? I am looking for a talented Mechanical Project Manager for a full service Engineering Firm with a strong client list and project pipeline across Australia. Work on exciting project design and manage projects for tier 1 clients such as Rio, BHP, etc across AUS and overseas.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Project Manager you will:
- Management and ownership of multidisciplinary design projects.
- Manage all aspects of the project including progress tracking, planning and scheduling.
- Facilitate and participate in design reviews.
- Support and collaborate with highly skilled designers and engineers to develop designs for a wide range of plant elements.
- Prepare technical engineering documents as part of overall project engineering deliverables.
- Visits to client sites as required.
- Maintain a safety focus through all aspects of work.
Experience
...
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- 7+ years of multidisciplinary Project experience
- Exposure to Materials handling design projects, greenfield and brownfield
- Detailed knowledge of materials handling industry
- Excellent organisational, communication, & time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, a go-getter attitude
Nice To Have Experience:
- Mechanical design experience
- Exposure to multiple commodities including iron ore, gold, copper, lithium, etc
