What you will do:
- Undertake routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on large-scale water assets.
- Perform fault analysis on complex mechanical systems and "detective work" to keep machines running.
- Supervise on-site contractors and provide direction and mentoring to Apprentices.
- Manage permits to work and SWMS to ensure every job is done safely.
- Participate in the on-call roster and emergency response (Flood Ops) to protect the community.
What you need:
- Cert III Trade Certificate (Fitting & Turning or similar).
- Driver’s Licence
- Advanced knowledge of tools and mechanical systems.
- A willingness to work under general direction while exercising initiative to solve puzzles.
