Key Responsibilities & Curriculum Development
This role requires a proactive approach to teaching and learning, with a strong focus on curriculum enhancement:
... High-Level Teaching: Plan, prepare, and deliver rigorous Mathematics instruction up to Year 12, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for high-level mathematical concepts.
Curriculum Leadership: Actively contribute to the development and refinement of engaging Mathematics and Science curricula and assessment resources across all year levels.
Resource Development: Comfortably develop high-quality, practical Maths resources that align with current syllabus requirements and support diverse learning needs.
Team Collaboration: Work closely within the large Mathematics team, contributing positively to departmental strategies under the guidance of the Director of Mathematics, Numeracy, and Data.

Essential Selection Criteria
Full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) or capacity to obtain registration.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education with specialization in Mathematics and/or Science.
Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics up to Year 12.
A proven track record of exemplary classroom management and independent student behaviour strategies.
Capacity to actively engage in curriculum development and resource writing within the department.
