Master Planner - Role Summary
Are you a master of timelines with a knack for untangling complex dependencies? We are seeking a highly skilled Master Planner / Scheduler to join a large-scale enterprise transformation in the Public Safety sector. You will be the central point of truth for the program schedule, ensuring that multiple workstreams and vendors remain perfectly aligned while providing the transparency needed for high-level governance. This is a critical contract role based in the Brisbane CBD, offering the chance to drive delivery excellence in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
What You Will Do:
...Develop and maintain a comprehensive program-wide schedule, ensuring alignment between individual project timelines and the overarching roadmap.
Maintain a program-wide dependency register to identify and resolve schedule conflicts, risks, and blockers across internal teams and vendors.
Produce accurate schedule and dependency reporting for governance forums and steering committees using PPM tools and PowerBI.
Collaborate closely with Project Directors, Managers, and Change Managers to validate timelines and ensure alignment with organisational priorities.
Provide structured communication and visibility to support executive decision-making and maintain schedule integrity and traceability.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
Proven experience in program scheduling and dependency management within a large-scale enterprise transformation office.
Strong proficiency in scheduling applications such as PPM tools and management dashboards like PowerBI.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules and resolve conflicts under pressure while maintaining high accuracy.
Knowledge of Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies alongside familiarity with risk management and governance frameworks.
Prior experience working within Public Safety environments or on significant government transformation programs is highly desirable.
