About the Opportunity
Are you an experienced marketing professional who thrives on a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution? We are a leading player in the Australian commercial playground industry, dedicated to designing and delivering innovative play spaces.
We are seeking a dynamic, full-time Marketing Manager to take end-to-end ownership of our marketing function. As the primary marketing resource within our business, you will drive brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement, and sustainable business growth.
This role sits on our leadership team and is perfectly suited to someone who enjoys the autonomy of building annual marketing strategies, while equally enjoying the creative process of content creation, event management, and campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company's overall annual marketing strategy and budget to support business growth and maintain a competitive edge.
Hands-on Content & Brand Management: Create and oversee a consistent brand identity across all touchpoints, including product brochures, sales collateral, case studies, blogs, presentation slides, and media releases.
Digital & Campaign Excellence: Plan and execute digital initiatives encompassing website management, SEO/SEM strategies, social media, online advertising, and targeted email marketing campaigns.
Agency & Supplier Coordination: Direct and manage relationships with external suppliers, contractors, telemarketing providers, and creative agencies to ensure quality outcomes and ROI.
Industry Representation & Events: Coordinate, organize, and represent the business at trade shows, conferences, and networking events—managing all schedules, logistics, and staff attendance.
Performance & Data Analytics: Manage the marketing database within our CRM, monitor campaign metrics, and provide monthly performance reporting directly to the Director.
Photography & Visuals: Undertake basic in-house photography for projects/events and coordinate with external photographers to capture high-quality images of completed playground installations.
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a dedicated marketing or marketing management role.
Functional Autonomy: Proven ability to independently manage an end-to-end marketing function from strategy through to supplier management and reporting.
Digital Mastery: Strong, demonstrated experience managing SEO, SEM, social media channels, and email marketing platforms.
Technical & CRM Skills: High proficiency in CRM systems, digital marketing platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven knack for building relationships with internal staff, clients, and service providers.
Desirable: Experience in photography, videography, or coordinating visual content creation is highly regarded.
