We are seeking a proactive and skilled
Maintenance/Infrastructure Plan Advisor to join the Infrastructure Services Division. This role is essential in supporting the operation and development of a significant portfolio of public sector facilities in Queensland.
As a valued member of the Infrastructure Services Division, your expertise will ensure the effective management of capital works, maintenance, and asset planning.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, Infrastructure Services Division, you will provide quality advice and hands-on support across the asset lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing quality advice and consultancy services to schools, senior management, and staff on a diverse range of facilities planning, investment, and portfolio operations.
- Providing high-level advice, information, and support services to clients across a broad range of facilities planning, investment, and asset management issues.
- Managing and monitoring the delivery of designated capital works, maintenance, and facilities services in accordance with defined scope, budget, delivery timetable, and quality standards.
- Coordinating with other regional facilities teams, the Infrastructure Services Division, and external service providers in the provision of a broad range of facilities services.
- Collaborating with staff across regional facilities teams, the Infrastructure Services Division, and other agencies to provide a comprehensive field-based facility support service to clients.
- Interacting with other resource management specialists in areas relevant to the delivery of the work unit’s services.
- Preparing ministerial responses, reports, and briefing materials.
- Conducting and reporting on operational audits of physical assets.
- Advising senior officers on a broad range of facilities planning and asset management issues.
