As a Document Processing & Operations Assistant, you will be a key part of the Digital divisions mailroom production team, in a secure, high-volume, efficient environment. Your primary focus will be on the physical preparation, high-volume scanning, and accurate data entry required to convert client files into digital records. Your efficient work is critical to the team’s output.
Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Flexibility: There may be some flexibility available for the right candidate.
Volume Document Preparation: Preparing large quantities of physical documents for scanning, including removing staples, sorting, and ensuring all files meet strict client requirements.
Bulk Scanning & Digitising: Operating high-speed scanners to accurately digitise files, performing basic image quality checks.
Data Entry & Processing: Performing fast, accurate data entry and processing information extracted from documents.
Reporting 📊: Assisting with general operational reporting, including:
End-of-shift workload output reports.
Client-specific and general data reporting.
Investigation & Quality Checks: Performing basic investigations to resolve discrepancies and ensure the quality of scanned images and data.
Compliance: Strictly adhering to all security and Work Health and Safety (WHS) procedures.
Administrative Support: Performing general office support and additional duties as needed.

Essential Requirements:
Processing Experience: Proven experience in a similar high-volume document processing, scanning, or production role is essential.
Speed & Accuracy: Demonstrated experience working at a fast pace while maintaining very high attention to detail when handling and checking documents.
Technical Skills: Must have good Excel skills for data processing and basic reporting.
The ability to multitask and prioritise a demanding workload.
Basic-to-intermediate computer skills (data entry, scanning software).
Self-driven with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
