Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Data Engineer to join our data and analytics team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure to enable enterprise-wide reporting, analytics, and governance initiatives.
... Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration of systems into the new data warehouse (Azure Fabric), ensuring seamless connectivity with key system interfaces.
- Drive the migration of business-as-usual data processes from on-premises to Azure Fabric by designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, optimising ETL workflows, and ensuring data integrity in a restrictive IT environment.
- Lead data ingestion for Disaster Ready Fund Round 4, ensuring accurate and timely data transfer for reporting purposes.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to enable enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders with varying levels of data literacy to ensure alignment, clear communication, and successful delivery of data initiatives.
