We are seeking a senior OpenText professional with a strong SAP Basis background to join our elite technical delivery team. This role is designed for an expert who can navigate the complexities of OpenText architecture within an SAP ecosystem, managing the entire lifecycle from initial system design to production go-live. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of unstructured content into structured SAP business processes.
Core Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of SAP Extended ECM (xECM) by OpenText, ensuring alignment with enterprise content management strategies.
- System Engineering: Execute the end-to-end installation, configuration, and upgrading of the OpenText solution suite, including Content Server, Directory Services, and Web Services.
- Archive Management: Manage and optimize the Archive Center using OpenText System Center to ensure high-performance data retention and retrieval.
- Technical Administration: Take full ownership of patch management, system monitoring, performance tuning, and security protocols across the OpenText landscape.
- Infrastructure Resilience: Define and maintain robust backup and recovery procedures to ensure 24/7 system availability and data integrity.
- Troubleshooting & Optimisation: Act as the final point of escalation for complex technical issues, performing deep-dive diagnostics and resolving system bottlenecks.
Technical Expertise & Experience
- xECM Mastery: Extensive tenure as an OpenText xECM Consultant with a proven history of successful, full-cycle SAP implementations.
- Hands-on Configuration: Deep technical proficiency in setting up and fine-tuning the OpenText xECM for SAP solution set.
- Basis Integration: Preferred experience in SAP Basis, allowing for a holistic understanding of how OpenText interacts with the SAP application and database layers.
- Lifecycle Management: Demonstrated ability to manage the transition from architectural design to stable operations and post-go-live support.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to solve immediate technical hurdles while maintaining a long-term tactical roadmap for the client’s content environment.
Mandatory Security Requirements
- Citizenship: Must be an Australian Citizen.
- Clearance: An active AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory for this role.
