The Opportunity
Seeking a Junior Accountant for our client in the Financial Services space. This permanent, office-based role is ideal for a proactive professional eager to learn and contribute to the day-to-day finance operations of a complex, multi-asset portfolio.
This is an excellent chance to gain broad exposure to sophisticated accounting within a high performing environment. Reporting directly to a senior finance leader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting compliance. This is a hands-on role with a clear pathway for rapid learning and increased responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
... Manage core financial processing, including payables, receivables, and expenses.
Support month-end and year-end close procedures.
Assist with financial reporting, including management reports and cash flow analysis.
Maintain meticulous financial documentation and audit trails.
Provide support for payroll inputs and various compliance-related tasks.
What We're Looking For
1–3 years of accounting experience in either a public practice or commercial setting.
Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with cloud-based ERP systems.
A meticulous eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
Candidates must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, willing to undergo background checks and sign a non-disclosure agreement.
