Inside Sales & Customer Service Specialist
Randstad is excited to be partnering with our long-standing client, a leading provider of high-quality tools and equipment, in their search for a proactive and highly organised Inside Sales & Customer Service Specialist. This is a critical maternity leave cover position with an immediate start, offering a unique opportunity to become an integral part of a collaborative team.
This is a fantastic chance to step into a key role where you'll gain end-to-end exposure to the entire business process. You'll be part of a dynamic four-person team, with duties rotating daily to ensure variety and continuous learning. You'll manage the entire sales and order process, from the initial customer inquiry to processing orders, booking freight, and handling invoicing. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and wants to make a tangible impact by ensuring a seamless experience for every customer.
We’re looking for a great communicator who is just as comfortable picking up the phone as they are navigating multiple systems. You'll be using JDE Oracle and Excel daily, so strong technical skills are essential. With a manageable workload and no cold calling or strict sales targets, this is a role where you can truly focus on building relationships and providing top-notch service.
What You'll Be Doing:
Handling a high volume of inbound customer calls and emails.
Processing orders accurately and efficiently.
Providing crucial information on pricing and product availability.
Managing all aspects of freight booking and coordination.
Generating invoices and managing the end-of-sale process.
Who We're Looking For:
An experienced professional with strong customer service and administrative skills.
A tech-savvy individual proficient in Excel.
Someone with great attention to detail and a proactive approach.
Experience with JDE Oracle or similar ERP systems is a bonus.
An empathetic and collaborative team player.
The role is a maternity leave cover with a proposed end date in May of next year, with the possibility of extension. We're offering flexible working hours, with a four-day work week (8am - 4pm or 9am-5pm).
