The Opportunity
Join a global Defence partner in an essential role supporting the Simulation Labs. As an Infrastructure Systems Administrator, you will be important to the stability, security, and scalability of important simulation environments. This role is based on-site at Garden Island, Sydney.
The Role
Over the first 12 months, your focus will be on hardening system security, automating routine administration, and ensuring seamless integration between simulation software and hardware. You will work across a dual-environment of Windows Server 2022 and RHEL 8, ensuring all systems meet healthcare-level or cyber compliance standards.
What you will need to be successful:
- Security Clearance: An available Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV2) is a non-negotiable, essential requirement.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of systems administration in medium-to-large IT environments.
- Technical Background: Experienced in multi-platform (Windows/Linux) environments.
- Qualifications: Tertiary IT qualification or industry certs such as MCSA, RHCSA, VCP, CCNA, or Fortinet NSE 4+.
