HV Tester/Commissioning Engineer

Randstad is hiring a talented HV Tester/Commissioning Engineer for a global contractor working with the NSPs on brownfield and greenfield substations. If you have an advanced diploma or bachelor of engineering, are experienced in HV testing and primary & secondary systems, please click apply!

Key Responsibilities:

As a HV Tester/Commissioning Engineer you will:

• Plan and lead testing and commissioning activities for brownfield and greenfield 22kV–500kV Substation projects
• Coordinate outage activities with a strong focus on safety and teamwork
• Conduct Protection & Control relay testing
• Perform IEC61850 system testing
• Carry out Primary Plant testing & commissioning
• Manage drawings, ITPs, defects, and RFIs

Experience:

• Significant experience in brownfield and greenfield substation projects
• Advanced Diploma of ESI Power Systems or an Electrical Engineering Degree
• Strong background in ESI testing and commissioning
• Experience within Australian transmission/distribution networks
• Proficiency with Doble and/or Omicron secondary injection test equipment and other primary plant test tools
• Certifications such as VESI or AusNet Certified very desirable
