The Role (What You'll Be Doing)
As a core member of the team, you will be responsible for:
- Skillfully operating SideArm and Rear Loader waste trucks for residential kerbside collections.
- Executing scheduled routes efficiently and maintaining timely, safe collections.
- Providing hands-on support to runners/offsiders when needed.
- Championing high safety standards, including meticulous use of correct PPE and accurate hazard reporting.
- Communicating effectively and professionally with depot and operations teams.
Ready to Join? (Essential Requirements)
We are looking for dedicated professionals who meet the following criteria:
- Valid HR Truck Licence.
- Proven HR driving experience (6–12 months minimum), with waste industry experience highly regarded.
- Reliable transportation for your commute to the Greenacre, Mascot & Eastern Creek depot.
- Physically fit and capable of safely completing manual tasks, including lifting up to 30 kg.
- A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
- Successful completion of a mandatory drug & alcohol test and police check.
- A current RMS driving history report is required.
Please note: Your first two weeks will be structured to complete essential compliance and site-specific training, during which you will be paid at the offsider rate before transitioning to your full driver rate.
