Ute Driver / Yard Hand - Crane Experience Essential

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and experienced full-time Ute Driver/Yard Hand to join our client's successful team, servicing the Canberra region. This is a critical dual role involving both the safe and timely delivery of equipment across the ACT and supporting yard operations.

• You'll be driving a Ute with a small crane/hiab to safely load up, drive, and drop off our equipment to customer sites all over the ACT.
• You need to make sure you're always following the road rules, all the safety stuff, and how we handle deliveries here at the company.
• Jump in with the general yard work this means signing in gear, checking it over, cleaning it up, and getting it ready for the next hire.
• Keep the operations team and our customers in the loop with clear, friendly updates during all your deliveries.
• Keep all your necessary licenses and certs current, and be proactive about keeping the workplace safe for everyone.

• A current and valid driver's license with a clear driving record is essential. Proven experience operating a Ute with a rear-mounted crane/hiab is mandatory.
• White Card (General Construction Induction),
• Asbestos Awareness,
• Silica Awareness
• Local Knowledge: Excellent geographical knowledge of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
• Communication: Clear, effective, and professional communication skills (written and verbal).
• Work Ethic: Reliability, punctuality, and the willingness to work full-time hours, which may include early starts.
• Physical Fitness: The ability to perform manual handling and general yard duties as required.
