Our partnered company is a leading truck repair business with workshops all across the country. They are now seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic for a stable full-time permanent opportunity in their workshop in Darra, Brisbane.
The primary focus of this role is the specialized repair and restoration of trucks and trailers that have sustained damage from accidents.

... Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections and identify mechanical and structural damage on trucks and trailers involved in accidents
- Maintain and replace engines, transmissions and suspension systems
- Diagnose and test the vehicles
- Adhere to the workshop safety policies
Requirements:
- Trade qualified as a diesel mechanic or similar
- Experience repairing and diagnosing heavy vehicles such as trucks, trailer, buses and similar
- Work effectively in a team
- You're a problem-solver when performing your job
- You're reliable, punctual and hardworking
What is being offered:
- Salary: $45-50ph + penalties
- Full-time permanent opportunity
- Extra-hours available: work up to 50-55h/week
- Saturday shifts available (6am-12pm)
- Shifts: Mon-Thu (7am-3:30pm). Fri (7am-1pm)
