Our client is one of Australia's fastest-growing automotive brands, currently seeking a high-calibre General Manager of After Sales to join their executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a broad team (including 3 direct reports) and play a pivotal role in shaping the post-purchase journey during a period of significant expansion.
Key Responsibilities
... Strategic Evolution: Develop and implement robust after-sales strategies focused on achieving sustainable business growth.
Operational Resilience: Manage complex supply chain or technical crises with agility, ensuring "business as usual" targets are met despite shifting priorities.
Data-Driven Innovation: Leverage data analytics and emerging technologies (including AI exposure) to identify new opportunities for growth and efficiency.
Financial & Technical Oversight: Navigate high-stakes technical failures and warranty bottlenecks, resolving them with a focus on commercial outcomes.
Stakeholder Influence: Build strong relationships across the national business and use your influence to drive a customer-centric culture.
About you
We are looking for a visionary leader who is motivated by pace, culture, and high-performance standards. To be successful, you will possess:
Industry Expertise: 8–10 years of dedicated After-Sales experience within the automotive sector.
Leadership Track Record: Experience leading large-scale operations and managing diverse teams through periods of change.
Commercial Acumen: A deep understanding of the financial drivers of after-sales and a history of overcoming major warranty or technical roadblocks.
Adaptability: The ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment and maintain focus on the "big picture".
Customer Centricity: A forward-thinking approach to maintaining pace with an evolving customer base.
