Senior Functional Analyst | Permanent | $160,000 Package Inc. Super
This is a senior-level opportunity to join a large, complex organisation undergoing meaningful digital transformation. You'll play a lead role across enterprise systems analysis, solution design, and continuous improvement, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and delivery leads.
What you'll be doing
- Leading end-to-end analysis of complex business problems and designing scalable enterprise solutions
- Driving discovery, requirements gathering, and solution design across cross-functional teams and multiple projects
- Conducting strategic assessments, gap analysis, and process reengineering to support business transformation
- Overseeing system configuration and integration efforts in line with enterprise architecture
- Leading user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, and refinement sessions
- Preparing high-level documentation including business cases, functional specs, process maps, and training materials
- Providing expert advice to senior stakeholders on solution design, system capability, and risks
- Coordinating UAT and delivering training to users on system changes
- Mentoring and developing junior analysts to uplift team capability
- Contributing to change management, communications, and training strategies to support system adoption
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise systems analysis and large-scale digital transformation projects
- Strong capability in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and translating complex business needs into clear functional requirements
- Proven expertise in systems integration, data mapping, process modelling, and solution validation
- Solid understanding of Agile principles with hands-on experience in a lead BA role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus at all levels
- Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent extensive industry experience
- Relevant certifications (CBAP, Agile/Scrum, ITIL, TOGAF) are highly regarded
- Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms such as TechnologyOne, Oracle, or D2L is a plus
