Your New Company/Role:
As a well established organisation, my client is looking for an experienced Finance/Office Manager Officer to join their team on a permanent full time basis. The role is to be based in the Greater Western Sydney office. There will be onsite parking provided.
This role is to be the operational backbone of a successful and growing business. This is a critical, multi-faceted role that requires strong financial acumen, exceptional administrative skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
You will be responsible for overseeing our accounts, managing office operations, ensuring HR compliance, and providing vital operational support across our sales, service, and parts departments. About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:
Reporting to a nurturing General Manager & Director; you are responsible for
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
- Lodgment of payroll tax
- Manage debtor follow-ups and overdue account reporting
- Assist with end-of-month and end-of-financial-year processes
- Oversee general office operations and administrative functions
- Ensure the business remains compliant with WHS / OH&S legislation and company safety policies
- Coordinate communication between departments to ensure consistent workflow
- Liaise with outsourced provider for payroll processing, onboarding, offboarding, and leave management
- Prepare and issue employee contracts and provide general HR support and maintain accurate employee records
- Operational support for all departments with administrative requirements and assist with managing company records and documents
- Coordinate import documentation and liaise with customs agents for clearance.
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required
Ideal Profile
This opportunity is for someone who has experience within a similar role. You will also bring:
- Qualification in Accounting & Finance/Business/Commerce or equivalent work experience
- 5 years experience in a similar role - managing accounting domain and overall office environment
- Must have strong understanding in accounts receivable, accounts payable and some exposure to payroll
- Experience with Employment Hero is highly desirable but not required
- Prior experience in Oracle Netsuite is highly desirable but not mandatory
- Knowledge of WHS / OH&S compliance is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and proactive
Benefits
- Permanent full-time position
- $95,000 - $105,000 + Super (can go slightly higher based on experience)
