Are you a senior finance leader seeking a high-impact role that blends executive responsibility with genuine work-life balance?
We are partnering with a major SA Public Sector Health organisation who are at the heart of providing essential care to communities across a vast region. They are seeking a Senior Finance Partner for a pivotal 6-month contract, commencing in January 2026.
This is not just a back-office accounting role; it's a true 2IC (second-in-command) and a key strategic advisor to the head of finance.
The Opportunity
You will lead, mentor, and support the established Finance and Business Advisory team, which oversees all financial operations for numerous geographically dispersed sites.
Your primary focus will be to act as a "translator," bridging the gap between complex financial data and the non-financial leaders who rely on it. A key function will be preparing and presenting clear, insightful, and compelling reports for governance groups and the Governing Board.

About You
You are a qualified (CPA/CA) and experienced finance executive.
You are an exceptional communicator with a high degree of emotional intelligence, able to explain complex ideas with clarity and empathy.
You have proven experience in the public sector or a similarly large, complex, and geographically dispersed organisation.
You are a natural at building relationships, mentoring teams, and influencing at an executive level.
