About the Role: Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis , the successful candidate will support a specific portfolio of managers by providing financial information to inform key strategic and operational decisions. This role adopts a customer-centric approach to support core operations, priorities, and performance metrics while contributing to long-term financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, forecasting, and commercial advice.
Partner with and support managers and executives to uplift financial capability within their portfolios.
Develop and maintain complex portfolio costing models and produce monthly and ad hoc financial reports.
Provide financial and commercial analysis for key projects, working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Partner with executives to support the management of up to $50m in staff salaries and $10m in capital expenditure.
Skills & Experience Required:
Degree qualified in accounting, business, commerce, or a related discipline.
Substantial experience providing operational financial advice to management (essential) and strategic advice (highly desirable).
High proficiency in financial systems and Excel.
Experience with Technology One enterprise systems is highly desirable.
Previous experience within the Education sector is a significant advantage.
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong ability to communicate effectively across in-person and virtual mediums.
