Lead Estimator & Project Manager – Residential Bathroom Renovations
Randstad is proud to partner with our client, a highly-regarded Launceston construction and trades company, as they search for an experienced Estimator & Project Lead. This is a key role managing their successful residential renovations division.

About the Opportunity
As the division's leader, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of bathroom renovation projects, from initial concept to final handover. This is a hands-on role that balances leadership, estimating, and project management.
Key responsibilities include:
Estimating: Conducting client site visits to scope works, preparing detailed proposals, accurate costings, and 3D renders.
Project Management: Developing project work plans, coordinating all trades and contractors, and supervising all works to ensure strict adherence to safety, budgets, and timelines.
Team Leadership: Leading, training, and managing the team of builders and trades assistants, overseeing daily scheduling, and monitoring the quality of work.
Financial & Reporting: Monitoring divisional budgets, goals, and profitability, and delivering weekly KPI and progress reports to senior management.
Client Satisfaction: Managing the process from start to finish, including final project completion checklists to ensure satisfaction.
About You & What You'll Need
This role is ideal for a proactive and experienced professional with a strong background in residential construction. You are a natural leader with the ability to effectively support and guide tradesmen.
To be considered, you must have:
Certificate IV in Building and Construction.
A current building licence in General Construction - Domestic.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
High-level interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
A collaborative mindset and a "get the job done" attitude.
A demonstrated, proactive commitment to Workplace Health & Safety.
