The Opportunity
Randstad is seeking highly motivated and resilient Emergency Response & Operations Officers to join a critical State Government agency in the Perth CBD. This is a high-impact role requiring sharp decision-making and the ability to manage live incidents and resource deployment within a secure, fast-paced 24/7 operational environment.

Key Responsibilities
You will be trained to become a vital part of the agency’s response system, with duties including:
Incident Management: Provide investigation, analysis, and problem-solving in a fast-paced, demanding operational environment.
Resource Deployment: Coordinate and manage the deployment of critical resources (personnel, assets) in response to live and planned incidents.
Active Monitoring: Actively monitor multiple screens and systems to track incidents, resources, and stakeholder communications.
Information & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate fault reporting and precisely log all actions and data within the central database.
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a critical communications link, liaising with multiple agencies and stakeholders during incidents and planned events.
Geographic Expertise: Utilise strong geographic skills and knowledge to read maps and understand the logistics of the state road network.
The ideal candidate is resilient, exceptionally organised, and capable of quick, accurate work in a dynamic team setting.
You are self-motivated and consistently maintain work priorities to meet strict deadlines.
You possess excellent geographic orientation and have knowledge of the state road network and associated regulations.
You have proven ability to work effectively under pressure and contribute positively to a team environment.
Experience with multi-screen environments and fast-paced information processing (email/calls) is highly regarded.
This role operates on a 24/7 shift roster. You must have the ability to commit to working day, night, and weekend shifts. A full roster is provided to you 40 weeks in advance to support work-life balance.
