The Opportunity
We are currently taking Expressions of Interest from driven Tax Accountants & Business Advisors (Business Services) who are ready to make their next career move within the ACT market.
Whether you are looking to join a boutique advisory firm with a close-knit culture, a mid-tier powerhouse, or an agency with strong ties to government and private enterprise, registering your interest with us puts you at the front of the queue for exclusive, often unadvertised opportunities.
What Our Clients Are Looking For
The firms we partner with across Canberra are seeking proactive professionals who want to step out of pure compliance and step up into a true advisory partnership with their clients. While specific roles vary, typical responsibilities across our network include:
Managing end-to-end tax compliance and complex structuring for a diverse portfolio of SME and high-net-worth (HNW) clients, ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment.
Providing forward-thinking business advisory services, partnering with clients on cash flow forecasting, tax planning, and strategic growth initiatives to go beyond the everyday numbers.
Acting as a dedicated financial partner to business owners, building strong, long-term relationships that help them achieve both their operational targets and personal wealth goals.
Preparing financial statements and statutory reports including BAS, IAS, FBT, and Payroll Tax.
Navigating advanced tax concepts such as CGT, Div 7A, and GST reconciliations.
Mentoring and guiding junior accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Your Toolkit
To be highly competitive for these roles, you will bring a strong foundation in Australian public practice accounting and a commercial mindset:
A Bachelor of Commerce or Business (majoring in Accounting).
CA or CPA qualified (or actively nearing completion).
3+ years of experience working within an Australian Public Practice / Business Services environment.
Strong technical proficiency in cloud accounting and practice management software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, BGL, CAS360).
