As a vital member of our technical team, your day-to-day will involve:
Technical Repair: Receiving, analyzing, repairing, and returning electronic cards and equipment for train and signaling systems.
Testing & Validation: Utilizing specialized test benches and developing new testing methods to guarantee the reliability and quality of all equipment.
System Management: Using SAP (GSI) to track repairs, enter data, and generate detailed technical reports.
Mentorship: Acting as a mentor to engineering and electronic technician apprentices.
Supply Coordination: Requesting necessary materials and tools from the Supply Chain to ensure timely attention to repair requirements.
What You Bring to the Role
To be successful, you must demonstrate a strong technical background and a commitment to excellence:
Education: Electronic Technician degree or similar (Certificate III/IV in Electronics and Communications or Certificate IV in Industrial Electronics & Control).
Experience: Over 4 years of demonstrable experience in electronic board repairs.
Technical Proficiency: * Expertise in soldering both TH and SMD components.
Hands-on experience with instrumentation (Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Function Generator)
Proven ability to repair switching power supplies, DC/DC converters, and frequency converters.
Experience with RS485/RS232 industrial communication equipment.
