About the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end electrical installation of new lifts, escalators, and moving walks. You will be instrumental in ensuring that systems are installed, wired, and commissioned to the highest safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Wiring lift cars, shafts, pit equipment, and control panels
- Reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and technical blueprints
- Testing and troubleshooting control systems to guarantee operational integrity
- Collaborating with mechanical teams and site management to meet project milestones
- Assisting Lift Mechanics and Fitters to install panels and other mechanical components where required
Requirements include:
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a high level of technical competency and a commitment to safety. We value precision and the ability to work effectively in a construction environment.
- Current VIC A-Grade Electrical License
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Working at heights ticket (Within 2 years)
- Strong electrical install and fault-finding capabilities
- Physical fitness (willing to do some heavy lifting)
- Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces
- Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable transport
- Previous lift industry experience is desirable but not mandatory; we will provide specialised training for the right candidates.
This is a full-time position (38 hours per week) offering industry-leading compensation.
