The Reality of the Role
Let’s be real: most electrical maintenance jobs are a bit of a "Groundhog Day" situation. This isn’t one of them.
We look after the critical water and environmental systems that keep Australia running. Because our sites are spread across the country, you’ll be on the road about 75% of the time. You’ll be heading to sites in QLD, WA, SA, and TAS.
If you love a road trip, enjoy working autonomously, and actually want to see the "real" Australia while you work, you’re going to fit right in. If you need to be home for footy practice every Tuesday night, this probably isn't the gig for you.
The Payoff (And we mean it)
Since we’re asking you to be away from home, we make sure the bank balance makes it worth your while. Between the base salary, the high overtime availability, and the Living Away From Home Allowances ($180 a day), our technicians earn a very serious income.
Why You’ll Actually Like Working Here:
- Management Who Gets It: Our Service Manager is a legend and massive on "give and take." If you’ve been busting your gut on the road and need a late start for a school run or an appointment when you're back in Melbourne, we make it happen.
- The Ute: You get a fully stocked work ute and a fuel card. We’re actually happy for you to use it on the weekends, too—just give us a heads-up if you’re planning a 500km fishing trip!
- Skills for Life: You’ll be working on cool tech like UV disinfection, filtration, and complex chemical dosing systems. This is recession-proof work; the water industry isn't going anywhere.
- Zero Micromanagement: We trust you to do your job. You'll get the best gear (iPhone, tablet, premium PPE) and the space to use your brain.
What We Need From You:
We aren't looking for a robot; we’re looking for a person who knows their stuff.
- The License: You must have your A-Grade Electrical License. You’ll be on-site alone at times, so you need to be able to sign off on your own work.
- Industrial Brain: You’re comfortable with technical drawings and aren't afraid of complex industrial gear. If you’ve got a bit of instrumentation experience, even better.
- Great Attitude: You’re happy chatting with customers and can keep a cool head when things get busy.
- The Basics: A driver’s license and the ability to pass a police check/medical.
The Culture
We’re a supportive bunch and we’re growing fast, but we’ve kept that "team" feel where everyone's name is actually known. We invest heavily in training because we want you to stay and grow with us.
