Ego Pharmaceuticals is a proud, Australian-owned leader in the science of healthy skin, renowned for iconic brands such as QV, SunSense, and Aqium.
We are currently seeking a high-calibre Sales Representative to manage a key Western Australia territory, combining direct pharmacy engagement with strategic responsibility for State Key Accounts (SKA). In this field-based role, you will be the face of Ego across Perth and regional WA, driving commercial growth through sophisticated relationship management at both the pharmacy and head office levels.
The successful candidate will own the end-to-end sales cycle, from analysing IQVIA and IMS data to identify new opportunities, to negotiating premium shelf space and executing high-impact merchandising. Beyond achieving ambitious revenue targets, you will act as a clinical educator, conducting product knowledge sessions for pharmacists and their staff to ensure Ego remains the most recommended name in dermatological care. This is an autonomous and agile opportunity for a commercially driven professional to shape the regional strategy for a market-leading portfolio within a values-based organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Excellence: Achieve and exceed monthly and annual targets by expanding product range and volume across the WA territory.
- State Key Account Management: Develop and execute promotional plans for assigned SKAs, ensuring strong ROI and brand representation at head office and store levels.
- In-Store Impact: Negotiate superior off-location displays and shelf positioning that reflect Ego’s market leadership.
- Stakeholder Training: Deliver professional product training to pharmacy teams using company materials to drive consumer recommendations.
- Strategic Reporting: Utilise Salesforce CRM to maintain accurate customer profiles and provide market intelligence reports to management.
Skills and Experience
- Industry Experience: A minimum of two years’ success in selling OTC products is essential.
- Account Management: Two years of experience managing key accounts is highly desired.
- Education: High School Certificate is essential; a degree in Science, Business, or Pharmacy is highly regarded.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) and data analysis (IQVIA/IMS).
- Mobility: A valid driver’s licence and the ability to undertake country trips 4–5 times per year.
Your Benefits
- Highly competitive salary package, including a fully maintained company vehicle, fuel card, and performance bonuses.
- Exceptional travel opportunities, including twice-yearly sales conferences held in Australia and an exotic overseas location.
- Clear career progression supported by individualised career development plans.
- Complimentary Ego products for you and your family to enjoy.
- Recognition of excellence with generous prizes for Rep of the Year and Runner-Up Rep of the Year.
- The pride of representing market-leading, efficacious products manufactured locally in Melbourne.
- Strong, supportive leadership from your reporting manager and throughout the entire organisation.
- A highly sought-after, collaborative culture with a robust pipeline of future innovations.
