The Centre
This lovely 64 place service located in Sydney's Inner City is seeking an Educational Leader to join and work alongside the Centre Director to develop and implement a high quality curriculum within its service and support and mentor the team of educators there on a full-time basis.
This is a purpose-built service with strong ties to the local community and has a welcoming and supportive team of educators and management. The centre is within walking distance from the local train/metro stations.
The Role
As the Educational Leader of the service, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the centre curriculum based on the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
- Support and mentor educators to effectively implement the cycle of planning to enhance programs and practices.
- Lead the development and implementation of an effective educational program in the service and support educators to implement programs
- Driving quality in practices in line with the National Quality Standards
- Establish, nurture and foster strong relationships with children to achieve quality learning and development outcomes

About You
To be successful in this position, you must have:
- Bachelors in Early Childhood Education (equivalent or higher) qualification OR ACECQA-approved
- Minimum 1-2 years experience as Educational or Room Leader
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate, including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Manager
- Recent Child Protection Training/Safeguarding
- Food Handling Certificate or willing to obtain
- Deep understanding and knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
- Australian unrestricted working rights
