Dispute Resolution Specialist | General Insurance
Are you a Claims or Complaints professional with a knack for navigating complex disputes? We are partnering with one of the world’s leading global insurance brands to find Dispute Resolution Specialists for a 12-month temporary contract.
This is a high-impact role where you will act as a final point of escalation, ensuring customer concerns are resolved with empathy, accuracy, and full regulatory compliance.
The Opportunity
...Role: Dispute Resolution Specialist (Internal Dispute Resolution - IDR).
Temp Contract: 12-Month Contract (Full-Time Hours) - open to WHVs with complaints experience
Rate: $40.56 per hour + Super.
Location: Sydney CBD with a flexible hybrid work model.

What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you aren't just processing paperwork; you are investigating the "why" behind complex disputes and privacy breaches. Your day-to-day will involve:
Investigating & Resolving: Handling diverse complaints and disputes while adhering to the General Insurance Code of Practice.
Regulatory Liaison: Preparing formal notices for the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) to meet all regulatory expectations.
System Oversight: Maintaining and monitoring Complaint Management Systems to ensure data integrity.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and enhance internal processes and services.
About You
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, customer-driven environment and possesses a high level of resilience.
Experience: Extensive background in a customer complaints or IDR environment.
Industry Knowledge: Ideally, you have a background in Insurance Claims, but we are also open to specialists from other areas of Financial Services (Banking, Superannuation, etc.).
Technical Skills: A high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing demands effectively.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills, with the ability to have "meaningful conversations" and maintain empathy at all times.
