About the Opportunity
As a Diesel Mechanic focusing on engine and driveline components, you will be part of a dynamic workshop repair section. This role offers stability and a chance to truly hone your craft.
Your Day-to-Day Activities:
... Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults, with a focus on major repairs and overhauls on engine or driveline components.
Performing hands-on workshop duties, including dismantling products, meticulous cleaning, detailed inspection, precise parts ordering, re-assembling, and testing (where appropriate skills have been attained).
Performing routine servicing and preventative maintenance to keep industrial equipment running smoothly.
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations.

What You'll Bring to the Team:
We are looking for hands-on, experienced mechanics who value quality and teamwork.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year post-trade experience, with proven experience working in a repair environment undertaking major repairs and overhauls on engine or driveline components.
Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, particularly on large, industrial 4-stroke diesel engines (experience in industrial rather than automotive engines is key).
Drive: The ability to work well under pressure to meet requirements and display good time management skills to complete Repair Orders according to scheduled commitments and targets.
Communication: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to positive teamwork.
Pre-Employment Requirements: The ability to pass a medical and obtain a National Police Clearance.
Residency: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is highly desirable. The company may consider temporary visa holders with a clear path to permanent residency.
