In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the accuracy of our corporate database to ensure seamless operations and financial reporting.
The Role
As a Data Quality Officer (Band 4), you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of customer data. From creating new name and address records to performing complex data cleansing, your work directly impacts the efficiency of every department in the organization.
Key Responsibilities Include:
... Database Maintenance: Update and modify the Name and Address Register (NAR) through various channels, including telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
Data Cleansing: Investigate and resolve duplicate records, invalid addresses, and joint name issues to ensure a "single source of truth".
Administrative Support: Provide timely advice and assistance to other departments regarding data standards and checking details.
System Utilization: Operate specialized computer-based equipment and software, including Oracle Service Cloud, Oracle CDM, and Technology One.

What You Bring:
Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience working with large-scale corporate databases.
Exceptional Communication: The ability to interpret customer enquiries and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
Detail Focus: High keyboarding accuracy and a solid grasp of basic mathematical formulas.
Customer Service Excellence: Demonstrated experience dealing with the general public in a professional environment.
Requirements
Satisfactory completion of VCE, VCAL, HSC, or an equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in data entry and customer-facing roles.
The right to work in Australia.
A current Victorian Driver’s Licence and previous experience in local government are considered desirable.
