Randstad is currently working with a Qld Government Department to find a Data Modeller / Power BI Developer in a fixed term capacity for 6 months. This role is based in Kedron with WFH flexibility and offers onsite parking.

Contract Length: 6 Months (fixed term) with potential of extension
Pay Rate: Government A07 Pay Rate - $101,764 – $112,476 + super (Annual Equivalent)
Location: Kedron with WFH flexibility (onsite parking available)
About the Project:
This is for a Workforce Analytics project within a Queensland Government Department. This project is an exciting opportunity to help transition the workforce reporting from manual, Excel-based processes to a modern, cloud-based data and analytics platform.
The key objectives of the project include:
- Establishing a centralised, trusted workforce data layer.
- Delivering Power BI dashboards and self-service reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
- Design and implement a scalable data layer in an Azure environment, including data modelling, transformation, and refresh processes.
- Develop Power BI reports and dashboards to cover key workforce metrics.
- Build self-service reporting capabilities, including the development of security and governance frameworks.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong expertise in data modelling and analytics.
- Proficiency in Power BI development, including dashboard design and self-service reporting.
- Experience in Azure.
Desirable Skills:
...- Knowledge and experience working with payroll data (preferably Aurion).
- Experience with databricks.
- Experience in Azure Data Lake and designing data layers.
- Government experience would be a bonus, but not required.
