The Opportunity

The Role
As a Data Entry Officer, you will be responsible for the accurate input, verification, and management of departmental information. You will work within supportive teams to ensure that critical databases and records are maintained with the highest degree of integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
High-Volume Data Entry: Accurately inputting alpha and numerical data into government-specific databases.
Information Validation: Reviewing and cross-checking information to ensure accuracy and compliance with departmental standards.
Records Management: Maintaining, updating, and archiving digital and physical files.
Process Support: Assisting with high-volume tasks, including scanning, indexing, and basic reporting.
Data Cleansing: Identifying and correcting errors or inconsistencies within existing datasets.
About You
You are a focused professional who thrives in an environment where precision is paramount. To be successful, you will have:
Exceptional Accuracy: A proven track record of high-speed data entry with minimal error rates.
Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and the ability to learn new internal systems quickly.
Government Experience: Previous experience within a State Government or highly regulated environment is highly regarded.
Organizational Skills: The ability to manage repetitive tasks with a high level of concentration and efficiency.
Mandatory Compliance: You must hold a current National Police Clearance (NPC). This is a mandatory requirement. A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is considered ideal but is not essential for all roles.
