Customer Service Representative | High Volume Call Centre

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain professional experience with a major Australian bank, even if you’ve never worked in a call center or bank before!
The Role
Based in our clients; vibrant Murray Street office, you will be the first point of contact for our business customers. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role where you will handle back-to-back calls, ensuring every customer receives exceptional service.
Your day-to-day will involve:
...Handling general banking enquiries.
Assisting with business card queries.
Managing and resolving customer complaints with empathy and efficiency.
The Details
Rate: $37.13 per hour + Super.
Contract Duration: 9th February – 31st June.
Hours: Full-time (38 hours per week) on a rotating roster between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
Location: 100% in-office
Stability: You will receive your shift roster one month in advance.
Training: 6 weeks of comprehensive, fully paid full-time training and ongoing coaching.
What We Are Looking For
We value attitude and communication skills over specific industry experience.
Experience: Background in retail, hospitality, or any face-to-face/phone-based customer service.
Resilience: Ability to handle high call volumes and stay calm under pressure.
Ambition: A desire to learn and develop within a supportive corporate environment.
Mandatory Assessment Centre Shortlisted candidates must be available to attend an assessment centre on Thursday, 15th January. Two sessions available: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
