What You’ll Be Doing
- Customer Engagement: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online messaging within set timeframes.
- Problem Solving: Listen to and understand customer needs, present effective solutions, and follow up until the inquiry is fully resolved.
- Consultative Service: Identify opportunities to connect customers with relevant products and services, such as credit cards, loans, and insurance.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements to make it easier for customers to deal with us and stay updated through ongoing training.
- Digital Support: Help educate customers on digital and self-serve channels, acting as a key escalation point when digital tools fail.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Communication Skills: A strong phone manner with active listening skills and the ability to "talk and type" concurrently.
- Tech Savviness: High computer literacy and the ability to navigate multiple digital platforms and systems at once.
- Resilience: The ability to adapt to change and remain professional in a fast-paced, rostered environment.
- Experience: While previous call centre experience is preferred, your attitude and willingness to learn are key.
- Accuracy: Strong attention to detail, grammar, and typing accuracy.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to completing all mandatory training and following established processes.
