About the Company
Our client is a premier Australian distributor and manufacturer of specialised technical equipment. With a long-standing reputation for engineering excellence and reliability, they are looking for a dedicated Credit Controller to join their stable, professional team in the Western Suburbs.
The Role
Managing the end-to-end accounts receivable function, you will ensure the debtor's ledger remains healthy while fostering strong client relationships.
Key duties include:
Managing a high-volume portfolio of commercial accounts.
Proactive collection of overdue funds via phone and email.
Assessing credit limits and processing new account applications.
Resolving invoicing discrepancies with internal sales and service teams.
Preparing monthly aging reports for the Finance Manager.
Requirements
Experience: 2-4 years in a dedicated Credit/AR role (Industrial or Trade background highly regarded).
Communication: Ability to be firm yet professional with a customer-service mindset.
Skills: Strong ERP experience and proficiency in Excel.
Attitude: A proactive "owner" of the ledger who requires minimal supervision.
