I am currently representing a Tier 1 Mining house in Perth that is scaling up its control systems capabilities across several major Iron Ore assets. We are looking for high-caliber engineers for a mix of Contract (long-term) and Permanent roles.
These positions are strictly for Perth-based candidates with full Australian working rights.
Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 3 years' professional experience within the mining sector (Iron Ore experience is highly preferred). We are seeking specialists across two distinct technical streams:
Stream A: Rockwell & Citect
- PLC: Advanced programming in Rockwell Studio 5000 / RSLogix.
- SCADA: Configuration and deployment of Citect.
- Focus: Mineral processing, conveyors, and plant-wide control.
Stream B: Siemens & Sinumerik
- PLC/SCADA: Siemens TIA Portal, S7, and WinCC.
- Specialist: Integration and troubleshooting of Sinumerik systems.
- Focus: Heavy machinery, mobile equipment, and complex drive systems.
Logistics & Compliance
- Location: Based in Perth (mandatory).
- Travel: Ability to travel to site on an ad-hoc basis for commissioning and support.
- Roster: Some roles require shift work or site-based rosters; flexibility is essential.
- Work Rights: Valid full Australian working rights required.
