Randstad are currently looking for a reliable and switched-on Control Room Operator to join the team, overseeing crushing plant operations from a central control room.

This is a ongoing and unique role suited to someone who can stay sharp, focused, and take ownership of plant performance in a controlled environment.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for the daily running, monitoring, and optimisation of the fixed plant crushing operations, operating from a central control room equipped with live graphics and camera feeds.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage crushing plant operations via control systems and live camera feeds
• Maintain consistent plant performance through active observation and adjustment
• Complete hourly written productions reports
• Communicate clearly with site personnel via UHF radio
• Provide direction and instruction to on-ground team members when required
• Assist with maintenance and general labouring duties on scheduled days

• Basic literacy for reporting (no advanced computer skills required)
• Willingness to be part of a team and step in where needed
• Able to learn fast and on the go in a fast paced environment
