Experienced Concrete Batchers Wanted! Temp-to-Perm Opportunity with a Tier 1 Client (Brisbane-Wide)

We are seeking 8 highly skilled Batchers to join a premier client's growing team across multiple sites in North, South, East, and West Brisbane (with an immediate focus on the Southern region).

The Offer
...Pay Rate: $38.00 - $44.00 per hour + Super (depending on experience).
Overtime: Excellent penalty rates for overtime, which is standard (typical work week is around 50 hours).
Hours: Full-time hours, generally Monday to Friday with Saturday work opportunities. Shifts typically start from 5:00 AM and can finish around 5:00 PM.
Travel: Flexibility to work across various Brisbane plants. Kilometre allowance provided for travel to plants outside of your primary location.

Qualifications & Requirements
Essential
Experience: Proven, hands-on experience as a Concrete Batcher/Batch Plant Operator is essential.
Literacy & Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for order-taking and administration.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency with computerised batching systems, dispatch software, and general office computing (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Phone Skills: Proficient telephone manner for customer and driver communication.
Safety: Commitment to following all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) protocols.
Desirable
Licences: Current and valid Front-End Loader ticket/licence.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of concrete mix designs, raw materials, and relevant Australian Standards.
Customer Service: Experience in a direct customer-facing or customer service role.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Your role is diverse, combining technical plant operation with essential operational, administration, and customer service tasks:
Accurate Batching: Operate the computerised batching system to accurately weigh and mix concrete materials according to precise mix designs and quality control standards.
Quality Control (QC): Conduct daily moisture testing and sampling to ensure all concrete batches meet strict specifications.
Dispatch & Logistics: Manage the dispatch process, including allocating loads and scheduling concrete agitator trucks to ensure timely customer delivery.
Stock Management: Process, receive, check, and manage inventory and stock levels of all raw materials (e.g., sand and aggregates).
Administration: Handle essential day-to-day admin activities, including processing orders, entering data (docketing) into the system, and maintaining accurate production records.
Housekeeping & Labouring: Perform general yard and plant housekeeping, including using a pressure washer to clean the plant, machines, and agitator trucks, ensuring the plant is kept to the highest standard of cleanliness and safety.
Maintenance: Assist with general plant maintenance and conduct regular safety checks and inspections of all batching equipment.
