Our Northern Suburbs client is a Transport and Logistics company experiencing year on year growth, built upon decades of experience and a stable team. A recent retirement within their finance team has now lead to the following permanent opportunity.
about the role
Reporting to the managing director, the Company Accountant will lead the finance function for the business, undertaking a range of tasks relating to financial and management accounting. This is a hands-on position which provides autonomy and the opportunity to shape processes within the business.
relevant skills & experience
- A working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero or MYOB
- Payroll experience including superannuation
- Intermediate excel skills
- Preparation and submission of BAS, GST and IAS
- Overseeing AP, AR & credit management
- Monthly reporting & subsequent analysis
- Other finance administration duties as required
