Title: Community Recovery Officers & Project Assistants
Client: State Government Client
Pay Rate: $50.00 - $75.00
Location: Fremantle
Dates & Duration: Peak season runs from November - April.
Start & Finish Times: 8:00am - 4:00pm - Mon-Fri

... - Applicants need to be available at short notice and flexible to work short to medium contract lengths depending on disaster response requirements.
- Drivers License - Some positions may require driving due to community involvement and locations.
Primary Tasks:
- Assisting persons impacted by emergency events.
- Project support and coordination
- Recording interactions and support into databases.
- Support service delivery and recovery efforts.
- Establishing individual, community and stakeholder relationships
- Stakeholder management and relationship building.
- Project participation and leadership including contribution to recovery strategic direction.
- Preparation of qualitative analysis of project and program data including reporting and progress metrics.
- Disaster Recovery Activities including the delivery of Personal support services via
- service provider referral and identification of specific recovery requirements of impacted communities and individuals.
- Participation in community outreach and engagement activities.
- Coordination of case management for impacted communities and individuals of a disaster related events.
- Management and creation of qualitative analysis of project and program data including reporting and progress metrics.
Key Skills/Experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced Computer Skills MS Office and Excel.
- Project Management Support Experience, desirable.
- Work collaboratively with impacted persons, community members, local organisations and government agencies to identify needs, coordinate resources, and implement recovery programs.
- Strong Community Engagement and communication.
- Ability to work under pressure with strong coordination and time management.
- Problem-solving and project management capabilities.
- Empathy and cultural awareness.
