We are seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Business Analyst to join their team supporting the PMO Manager and Vice-President Programs by providing analytical, pricing, and bid support to ensure competitive and profitable outcomes.
... About the role:
You will play a pivotal role in managing pricing strategies, preparing quotes and RFQs, supporting business cases, and assisting project managers and bid teams throughout the lifecycle of commercial activities. This includes modelling of different commercial and business models including support for business case analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing & Cost Analysis: Analyse market trends, competitor pricing, and internal cost structures to recommend optimal pricing strategies.
- RFQ & Tender Support: Coordinate responses to RFQs and tenders, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Business Case Development: Prepare financial models and scenarios to support investment decisions and bids.
- Bid Management: Work closely with bid teams to ensure commercial compliance and profitability.
- Project Support: Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial risks; provide commercial advice to project managers.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with sales, finance, operations, and legal teams to ensure alignment on commercial terms.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports on pricing performance, bid success rates, and commercial KPIs
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 3–5 years in a commercial, financial, or analytical role (preferably within pricing, bids, or contract management).
- Experience in RFQ/tender processes and business case development.
- Exposure to project-based environments and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP/CRM systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to operate under strict regulatory and contractual conditions
- Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and forecasting
