Primary Administrative Duties
- Document Management: Provide transcription typing, word processing, and data entry services.
- Records & Reporting: Maintain court diaries, HR forms, and documents within computer systems.
- Communication: Draft professional correspondence, take meeting minutes, and compile minor reports.
- Staff Support: Induct visitors or contractors and provide training to new and existing team members.
Financial & Asset Management
- Financial Operations: Handle receipting, banking, accounts payable, and the reconciliation of cash and accounts.
- Budgetary Support: Research and prepare financial summaries and management accounting reports.
- Resource Coordination: Manage station supplies, fleet vehicles, and maintain an accurate asset register.
- Facility Oversight: Ensure equipment and physical facilities are maintained according to purchasing and supply guidelines.
Customer Service & Compliance
- Client Interface: Offer professional assistance and advice to the public and personnel on a variety of issues.
- Operational Audits: Assist with local area audits to ensure business efficiency.
- Safety & Equity: Work in accordance with WH&S legislation, risk management principles, and equity and diversity requirements.
