Key Responsibilities may include:
- Act as a professional first point of contact, delivering empathetic and high-level service to clients, families, and community members.
- Facilitate the smooth day-to-day operation of the office by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and providing proactive support to the wider team.
- Maintain precise records and reporting via MS Excel and industry-specific databases with a high degree of accuracy.
- Manage sensitive documentation and personal records with strict adherence to confidentiality, ethics, and privacy legislation.
- Process referrals and conduct initial intake screenings or contact with referred persons.
- Assist with the coordination of events, meetings, and secretariat services including agendas and minutes.
Your Skills & Experience
To be fast-tracked for these immediate start opportunities, we are looking for:
- Previous experience within Not-for-Profit, Community Services, or Disability sectors.
- A current Paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or Yellow Card).
- Ability to successfully pass a National Criminal History Check (Police Check).
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel if required.
- Exceptional verbal and written skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Confident user of the MS Office Suite with an aptitude for learning new database systems.
- A high level of emotional intelligence and the resilience to handle complex or sensitive situations with composure.
