We have a great opportunity to work in a hands-on role working with road maintenance crews in local councils in the South/East suburbs of Melbourne. You will be an integral member of the team preforming essential road maintenance tasks.
Location: South East Suburbs VIC
Pay Rate: From $35 - 39 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday | 6:00am - 7:30am starts
... Key Responsibilities
- Operating specialised plant and equipment used for line marking and bitumen sprays.
- General manual handling tasks (shovelling, raking, sweeping, and heavy lifting)
- Prep road surfaces for asphalt and sealing.
- Making sure all work is completed safely, correctly, and to a high standard.
- Complete pre-start checks and ensure vehicle is maintained to safety standards
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and site supervisors
- Adhere to all site safety protocols, including PPE and hazard identification
Requirements
- Valid MR Truck Licence
- Minimum 6 months relevant civil labouring or road maintenance experience
- Must hold a current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Ability to perform physically demanding manual work.
