The Opportunity
An opportunity now exists for a like-minded individual to join the team and contribute to a diverse and growing pipeline of work.
In this pivotal role, you will manage a range of civil engineering assignments from initial client engagement through to final delivery. Acting as a technical lead, you will ensure solutions are innovative, practical, cost effective, and fully compliant with relevant Australian Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery: Plan and oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
- Technical Excellence: Apply engineering principles to infrastructure design and conduct thorough quality assurance reviews.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor graduate engineers, designers, and drafters to support their professional growth.
- Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored technical advice.
- Strategic Support: Assist the General Manager with reporting, workload forecasts, and identifying growth opportunities
About you
You are a technically capable Civil Engineer with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. Whether working through complex infrastructure designs or collaborating with internal teams, you take pride in delivering projects from initial concept through to final site inspection.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor of Civil Engineering
- Hold CPEng Charted Status or ability obtain through Engineers Australia
- A minimum of five years in civil engineering, with a proven track record in infrastructure projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Australian Standards, legislation
