Civil Supervisor | Permanent | Launceston & Statewide
Take the Next Step with a Proudly Tasmanian Family Business.
...
Randstad is proud to partner with one of Tasmania’s most respected, family-owned and operated civil construction firms. Established over 25 years ago, this business has built a reputation for excellence across roadworks, subdivisions, and complex infrastructure projects.
We are seeking a hands-on Civil Supervisor to join their team on a permanent contract. This is a rare opportunity to join a business that values loyalty, integrity, and the "human" side of construction.
Are you an experienced Supervisor or a Senior Civil All-Rounder ready to step up? Whether you are a seasoned foreman or a highly experienced operator/all-rounder with the leadership potential and drive to transition into supervision, we want to hear from you.
The Opportunity
Role: Civil Supervisor (Permanent Full-Time).
Timing: Ideally kicking off Mid Year 2026 for the right candidate.
Location: Based in the Launceston region with projects statewide.
Projects: Diverse portfolio including subdivisions, TasWater infrastructure, road construction, and bulk earthworks.
What’s In It For You?
Career Security: A permanent contract with a stable, growing Tasmanian company.
Family Culture: Work for a business where you are a name, not a number, and high-performance machinery is matched by high-quality leadership.
Competitive Salary: Remuneration package tailored to your level of experience.
Modern Fleet: Access to well-maintained, high-performance plant and equipment.
Growth: Supportive environment for an All-Rounder looking to prove themselves in a leadership capacity.
Your Skills & Experience
We are looking for a "lead from the front" professional who isn't afraid to jump out of the ute and assist the crew when needed.
Proven Background: Significant experience in civil construction (drainage, pipelaying, earthworks, or roading).
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors, and plant requirements.
Technical Savvy: Ability to read plans, manage site diaries, and ensure projects hit milestones on time and on budget.
Safety First: A strict commitment to OH&S best practices and environmental controls.
The Essentials: Current White Card, Manual Driver’s Licence, and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical/D&A screen.
